The ocean is a huge mass of water, sometimes calm, sometimes excited by a storm. It hides countless species of plants and animals that scientists have not yet fully studied.
Fish eat fish
Most of the inhabitants of the ocean are predators. They eat each other: a large fish preys on a smaller one and someday it will be eaten by a fish, which will be even larger. For this reason, fish always toss a large number of eggs: almost all the small fishes that are born fall into the mouth of predators and only a small part of them reaches adulthood.
Sperm whale
Sperm whale is a huge marine mammal, a species of whale. Unlike other whale species that love cold water, the sperm whale lives in warm seas and is often found in the middle of the ocean. A sperm whale male can be more than 20 meters in length.
Giant squid
Very unusual creatures live in the oceans, such as a sea snake and a giant squid, in which the tentacles reach a length of 3 meters. He swims at great depths and feeds on fish. The largest specimens even dare to attack young whales and sperm whales.
Plankton
The largest ocean dwellers are small and often invisible to the naked eye. There are billions of them, and they form the plankton that even very large marine animals such as the blue whale feed on.
